Who we are
Supreme Birth Co. started as a very small dream. Chae, our founder, thought she would catch babies and go home. As spirit would have it, Supreme has turned into a pillar in the community of birth work.
Supreme’s mission is to provide birth services, birth education, and support to families. Supreme focuses on assisting black families to return to ancestral birthing practices. Our vision is to equip black families with knowledge and support centering community based empowerment.
Chae Pounds is a mom, wife, and community midwife. She began her birth work journey in 2015 by taking her first doula training. In 2017 she began her journey into midwifery. In 2020 she completed Midwifery school and in 2021 she completed her apprenticeship. In 2022, Chae began practicing midwifery full time. She founded Supreme Midwifery which quickly snowballed into Supreme Birth Co. While serving as head midwife, Chae also acts as our Director of Operations.

Birth Assistant + Learning Midwife
Kianna has been serving as a doula for 6 years. She acts a birth assistant for SBC. Kianna has recently heard the call, and has joined the ranks as a learning midwife.

Victoria is a certified doula with Supreme Birth Academy. She also owns Hart of a nanny, LLC based in Gulfport, MS.

Ja'Nae is a trained doula with Sista Midwife Productions. In conjunction to birth work, she is a nanny is the greater New Orleans Area. Ja'Nae served on the Supreme Queen's Birth Ball Court 2024.

Natasha is a dedicated doula passionate about supporting families through the birthing journey. With a special love for placenta encapsulation, she offers compassionate and personalized care, helping new parents navigate the birth journey with confidence and ease.
